Bite the Bullet

2016 – 2026 · The 10-Year Anniversary Release

To bite the bullet is to face the hard thing with your whole chest — to stay, to speak, to choose courage when it costs you. Ten years ago Hanna gathered empty bullet shells, the remnants of impact, and shaped them into a mouth: soft in silhouette, unflinching in origin. Bite the Bullet is that choice made physical — what was meant to harm, turned into voice, armor, beauty, and power. Lips are where truth leaves the body. Built from spent brass, these speak to the price of being heard and the joy on the other side of saying it anyway. A decade later, the piece marks its 10-year anniversary as the first and only original work Hanna has ever released for sale — a once-in-a-lifetime acquisition, offered through a live auction that closes on the final night of 2026.
